Produk tetikus generasi baru besutan Microsoft telah tiba dan seri produk baru ini sudah tidak lagi menggunakan laser. Tetikus Explorer baru adalah produk pertama yang menggunakan teknologi BlueTrack Microsoft yang dapat dipakai di hampir semua jenis permukaan mulai dari granit, kayu atau karpet (walaupun tetap tidak dapat dipakai di kaca atau permukaan-permukaan yang memiliki sifat cermin). MaximumPC yang menguji produk baru tersebut terkesan oleh akurasi, desain modern dan cahaya biru yang dipancarkan.
